Construction is progressing on the next phase of The Metalworks condominium and townhouse development located on the site of the former W.C. Wood plant in Guelph, Ont.
The owner/developer of the project is Fusion Homes and the construction manager is VanMar Constructors Inc. The work includes one 11-storey, 132-unit building with a guest suite, a lounge, a recharge retreat, fitness studio, a chef’s kitchen, a dining room and an outdoor fire pit. Completion is expected in 2019 and the project was designed by Kirkor Architects & Planners. Consultants are: Jablonsky, Ast & Partners (structural); and Callidus Engineering (mechanical/electrical).
