Work is moving up on the Islington Terrace tower one on Mabelle Avenue in Etobicoke, Ont.
The owner is Tridel and the general contractor is Deltera Inc. The work includes one 45-storey, 430-unit tower with 10 townhomes and four levels of underground parking. There will also be a three-storey podium that will house the amenities and link to towers two and three when they are constructed. The project was designed by Kirkor Architects & Planners and consultants are Sigmund Soudack & Associates Ltd. (structural), Novatrend Engineering Ltd. (mechanical/electrical) and Janet Rosenberg and Studio (landscape). Subcontractors include: Resform (formwork); Stellar Mechanical (mechanical/plumbing); Mayfair Electric Ltd.; and Belmar Ventilation Systems (sheet metal).
