Work continues for the Halo Residences on Yonge Street in Toronto.
The mixed-use project by Cresford Developments will include a 42-storey tower atop a podium with 422 units and 26 rental apartments, a guest suite and four levels of underground parking. The project will also include office and commercial space on the ground floor. The facade of the existing heritage property will be retained and the historic fire hall clock tower will become the centrepiece of a new plaza. Amenities include a lounge and outdoor pool, a theatre room and state-of-the-art fitness and wellness space. The project was designed by architectsAlliance and consultants are Jablonsky, Ast & Partners (structural) and Lam & Associates Ltd. (mechanical and electrical). Subtrades include Deep Foundations Contractors Inc.
