Four firms in the running for Orleans Health build

ORLEANS, ONT.—Hopital Montfort has announced that four firms have submitted proposals for the new Orleans Health Hub project in Orleans, near Ottawa.

Amico Affiliates, Buttcon Limited, EllisDon Corporation Inc. and Pomerleau Inc. had all qualified under the RFQ process and submitted their bids by the March 7 RFP deadline, a release stated. The next stage will see Infrastructure Ontario and Hopital Montfort evaluate the submissions with the successful bidder expected to be announced this summer.

The project involves the construction of a new facility at the corner of Mer-Bleue Road and Brian Coburn Boulevard. The 96,000-square-foot facility will accommodate Bruyere Continuing Care, the Champlain LHIN, the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, the Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre, the Geriatric Psychiatry Community Services of Ottawa, the Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa and Hopital Montfort itself.

The procurement model is build finance.
