Work continues at the Amica Seniors Residence in Pickering, Ont.
The owner is Amica Mature Lifestyles Inc. and Rockport Group is the developer, general contractor and owner. The project includes one eight-storey residence with 165 suites that will include memory care, assisted living and independent living components and one level of underground parking. Amenities will include a pool, gym, library, a salon and an arts and crafts kitchen. The project was designed by Turner Fleischer Architects Inc. and consultants are Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd. (structural) and CSEI-Intron Engineering Inc.(mechanical/electrical).
