Parkbridge reveals new modular housing design to provide attainable housing at scale
PARKBRIDGE — Parkbridge unveiled its latest innovation in modular housing The Woodgrove, a new model home.

COLLINGWOOD, ONT. — Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities recently released a new modular housing model that will enable the company to provide attainable living options at scale.

The first homes built using the model are at Huron Haven Village, a retirement community located in Goderich, Ont.

An operating platform of QuadReal Property Group, Parkbridge is a Canadian modular housing developer and community builder.

Wood-framed and energy-efficient, the fully customizable design can be adapted for the diverse communities Parkbridge supports and can be engineered to be fully modular, prefabricated factory built or traditionally site built to fit the requirements of each community, indicates a release. Depending on the foundation and model type, the new home can be constructed in as little as three months.

Priced from $357,900, the Woodgrove model, a two-bedroom, two-bathroom bungalow offers over 1,100 square feet of living space.

The model meets or exceeds standards set by both Canadian and provincial building codes and is warrantied by Tarion and other new home warranty providers. It uses R32 spray foam insulation, in floor joists as well as ductwork spray foam in the attic space.

Consumers who choose to buy a Parkbridge home typically benefit from savings up to 25 to 30 per cent when compared to buying a traditional subdivision home, along with reduced downpayment requirements, lower carrying costs and lower operating costs, the release reads.
