Cematrix Canada secures $2.6 million worth of work

CALGARY—Cematrix Corporation, an Alberta-based concrete company, recently announced that its subsidiary Cematrix Canada has locked in $2.6 million worth of additional contracts for a contracted total of $8.4 million this year.

President and CEO of Cematrix, Jeff Kendrick, said in a statement that the new contracts are mainly for oil and gas and infrastructure projects across the country, including change orders for projects already underway.

He added that their customers are finding new applications for their cellular concrete within their projects.

Cematrix is headquartered in Calgary, Alta. and is a manufacturer and supplier of advanced cellular concrete products used in several applications including tunnel grouting, bridge abutment, wall backfill, roads and runways, insulation, structural foundations and as a floating base over weak and unstable or seismic-prone soils.
