The Construction Record Podcast – Episode 77: Hacking, Buildex, and BIM

Daily Commercial News Image Daily Commercial News

This week on the Construction Record Podcast, digital media editor Warren Frey and staff writer Russell Hixson take a look at some of the stories that came out of Buildex Vancouver, including an article Russell wrote about the construction industry’s vulnerability to hacking and the Independent Contractors and Businesses Association’s CEO breakfast where ICBA president Chris Gardner called the B.C. construction industry the “unsung hero” of the province’s economy.

Warren also recently attended CanBIM’s Vancouver session and conducted an interview with University of British Columbia professor of civil engineering and associate dean of equity, diversity and inclusion Sheryl Staub-French, who moderated a panel about moving BIM past buildings and out of silos into further integration.
