WINNIPEG — The Manitoba Heavy Construction Association (MHCA) is asking members and its community partners to donate to the appeals for help as wildfire evacuees continue to resettle in Winnipeg and other communities.
The MHCA reports Manitoba is going through unprecedented wildfires that have displaced roughly 17,000 Manitobans from their homes to date.
Organizations assisting in the emergency resettlement of Manitobans fleeing northern communities have lists of items most in need.
The Canadian Red Cross, among them, is asking that those looking to help make monetary donations, the MHCA states.
