Site work is underway the Ponderosa Commons Housing Hub at the University of British Columbia. Hall Constructors is doing the utility hook up and site excavation for the project.

Ledcor Construction Ltd. is the construction manager on the development, which includes a 17-storey tower and a 15-storey tower in the first phase.

One building will be for student housing, while the other will include a number of student facilities. Hughes Condon Marler Architect and KPMB Architects are working on the project.

Murray & Associates are the land surveyors. The development is aiming for LEED Gold certification.
