The final regulatory permits necessary to begin in-river construction of the North Commuter Parkway Bridge in Saskatoon have now been received, and work on the structure has begun.
Graham Commuter Partners will work with the city over the next three years to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the North Commuter Parkway. Regulatory permits were required from a number of organizations and agencies prior to the start of in-river construction for the Parkway bridge including: Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Transport Canada, Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment, Saskatchewan Water Security Agency and the Meewasin Valley Authority.
