The Canada BIM Council (CanBIM) has issued a call for presentations for an upcoming regional session in Halifax in mid-June. The theme of the event is the state of BIM in Canada: past, present and future.

The council is seeking presentations that focus on the current use and adoption of BIM-related technologies by Canadian general contractors, architects, engineers and other professionals.

Presentations can be case studies of design or construction projects or can also feature techniques, processes, technology or other innovations in line with the session’s theme.

The council said presentations “ideally” should provide valuable insight into the local experience with BIM as an emerging technology and process.

Proposals should be submitted by May 15 to: admin@canbim.com.

The Halifax session will be held June 13. It is one of a series of such events being held across the country. The council most recently hosted a session in Calgary in February.
