This week on the Construction Record podcast Daily Commercial News staff writer Angela Gismondi interviews Natasha Ferguson, the founder and CEO of EthelFox Construct Group, which employs more than a dozen women from a variety of ethnicities and backgrounds which accounts for 70 per cent of her work force.
EthelFox Construct Group was recently recognized as one of the best Businesses in Canada by the Canadian Business Review Board. In early 2021, the company was also selected to participate in the Starter Company Plus Female Founders Program, offered through Enterprise Toronto. The program helps female-led businesses by assisting them with their operations and marketing initiatives.
Angela also spoke to Natasha about how the company evolved to become focused on helping women rise up through the construction industry as well as running a non-profit called A Woman’s Work that uses self-esteem programs and training to further those goals.
