TORONTO — An incident at a loading dock on a jobsite in Toronto has sent three people to hospital.
On March 20, the Ministry of Labour was notified of an incident on Lake Shore Boulevard West and Dan Leckie Way. The employer has been reported to be EllisDon Construction. Toronto Police reported they received a radio call for an industrial incident at 6:45 a.m. indicating three men were on a platform that collapsed.
“It was reported that three workers were loading material onto a loading dock when the load became unbalanced and fell,” said an MOL spokesperson in an email to the Daily Commercial News. “No details have been confirmed at this time. A ministry inspector has been assigned and our investigation is ongoing.”
Emergency Services attended the scene and transported the workers to the hospital.
