The Spooky Six: Tales from the DCN construction crypt
SUBMITTED PHOTO — The Caribou Hotel in Carcross, Yukon has stirred some spooky concerns for contractors who have worked on renovating it. The original hotel was built in Bennett, B.C. in 1898 during the Klondike Gold Rush. Once the rush was done, it was floated down to Carcross in 1901. The current building, pictured above, was opened in 1910. Ghostly apparitions, mysterious sounds of walking on stairs, clear water starting to bubble, illuminated lights though the structure was not connected to power and malfunctioning cameras are among the reported haunted experiences by workers.
