Window installation is underway on the mixed-use building at Eight Cumberland St. in Toronto.
The owners are Great Gulf Group of Companies/Phantom Developments and the construction manager is Tucker HiRise Construction. The work includes one 51-storey, 371-suite tower with retail and five levels of underground parking. Amenities on the fourth floor include an outdoor terrace with a barbecue lounge, an outdoor yoga area and a pet park with spa access. The project was designed by architects-Alliance and consultants are Jablonsky, Ast & Partners (structural), Able Engineering Inc. (mechanical/electrical) and NAK Design Strategies (landscape). Subtrades include Michael Bros. Excavating.
