Rose Corp. launches rental building in Newmarket
ROSE CORPORATION — The Bakerfield is the second phase of a 6.8-acre community in Newmarket, Ont. that will contain over 800 new purpose-built rental and condominium suites.

NEWMARKET, ONT. — The Rose Corporation has announced the sales launch of a 15-storey rental residence in Newmarket, Ont.

The Bakersfield, as it is called, will feature 216 units with sizes ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom plus den, including two storey suites, stated a release.

Features include quartz countertops, in-suite laundry, stainless steel appliances, outdoor living space, gigabit Internet and Salto keyless suite entry.

A dedicated amenity floor will have an outdoor terrace with barbecues, dining space, gardens and lounge seating. Additional amenities include a gym and yoga studio, social lounge, movie theatre, games room, children’s play zone, pet spa, car wash, co-working space, automated parcel lockers, electric vehicle charging stations and fireside lobby lounge.

The Bakerfield is the second phase of a 6.8-acre community that will contain over 800 new purpose-built rental and condominium suites. The developer is targeting LEED Silver.

“With the opening of the Bakerfield, we are excited to introduce a new way of rental living in Newmarket. Not only does it deliver much-needed housing in the community, but also provides residents with an elevated rental experience that previously did not exist in Newmarket,” said Daniel Berholz, president of The Rose Corporation, in a statement.

2 hours before coming to look at a 1 bedroom rental aptm for my daughter we were called and told we had to look at the next level aptm. $400.00 difference. We were booked for the 1 bedr because she on disability. Not impressed with the way they handled this.
