Molinaro Group continues condo construction in Burlington, Ontario
Owner/general contractor The Molinaro Group began the 21-storey, 186-unit tower in winter 2010, completion is scheduled for spring 2012. Designed to meet LEED silver certification, the project includes a fitness centre, party room, lounge, indoor pool, meditation garden and a business centre. The project was designed by Karp Namisniak Yamamoto Architects.
Consultants are Leonard Kalishenko and Associates (structural) and United Engineering Ltd. (mechanical/electrical). Subcontractors include: CanHaz Environmental (excavation); Pro Caissons; Salit Steel Ltd.; Highview Forming Inc.; Dufferin Concrete; Venice Masonry; Gilbert Plumbing and Heating (mechanical/fire protection); Ameresco (geo-thermal); P & M Electric; Toro Aluminum Ltd. (windows); and ThyssenKrupp Elevator Ltd.
