Construction is moving upwards on the University of Windsor, Centre of Engineering & Innovation in Windsor, Ont.
General contractor of the three-storey project is PCR Contractors Inc. and completion has been scheduled for August 2012. Designed by B+H Architects, the centre will be equipped with lecture theatres, offices and research space. Consultants are: Halsall Associates Ltd. (structural); Smith & Andersen Consulting Engineering (mechanical) and Crossey Engineering Ltd. (electrical).
Subcontractors include: PCR Contractors Inc. (excavation/formwork); Harris Rebar; International Precast Solutions (architectural precast); Prestressed Systems Inc. (hollowcore precast); Victoria Steel Corp. (structural steel); CBM (concrete); Con-Tact Masonry Ltd.; Jonel Fixture Supply (millwork); Riverview Drywall; Colautti Bros.
