Work is moving along on the Ontario Veterinary Colleges’ new Pathobiology/Animal Health Lab at the University of Guelph. Bird Construction Co. is the general contractor for the five-storey building, which is scheduled to be completed by August 2010.
The project was designed by Robbie/Young & Wright Architects Inc./IBI Group.
Consultants are Halcrow Yolles (structural) and Smith and Andersen Consulting Engineers (mechanical/ electrical).
Subcontractors include: Alfred Fach Excavating; Swan & Associates (formwork); Quest Steel (structural); G A Masonry; Greenfield Painting; PJ Daly Contracting Ltd. (drywall); JMR Electric Ltd. (mechanical/electrical); Merit Glass; WM Green Roofing & Sheet Metal; and Delta Elevator Co. Ltd.
