A new home renovation group has been launched that delivers benefits to contractors.
Called Renovantage Inc., the group is made up of qualified small and mid-sized contractors specializing in home renovations, from room remodelling to complete two-storey additions.
The concept is designed to provides contractors with access to business resources, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality workmanship instead.
The collaborative approach provides contractors with all of the cost benefits associated with group purchasing while giving them access to the business tools they need to build a strong renovation brand, said Greg Peterson, Renovantage President.
Toronto-based so far, Renovantage is “unique in that it treats home renovations with the same systemized approach that is routine in the commercial construction industry,” Peterson said.
The model is aimed at relieving the frustrations of smaller-sized contractor companies — such as fluctuating revenue streams, lack of resources to hire sales staff, bookkeeping, project management and office management staff, inconsistent or low lead flow, and little or no marketing ability.
