Vicwest Inc. (TSX:VIC), an Oakville, Ontario construction material manufacturer, announced Tuesday it is opening an insulated metal panel manufacturing plant in Little Rock, Arkansas. It also has a factory in Hamilton, Ontario. Vicwest makes metal roofing, siding, insulated metal panels and composite panels.
Vicwest Inc. (TSX:VIC), an Oakville, Ontario construction materials manufacturer, announced Tuesday it is opening an insulated metal panel manufacturing plant in Little Rock, Arkansas.
When the new 100,000-square-foot factory opens near the end of 2012, it will effectively increase the firm's insulated metal panel production capacity by more than 50 per cent, Vicwest stated in a press release.
Vicwest also has insulated metal panel facilities in Hamilton, Ontario and Vacaville, California.
Vicwest makes building construction products and steel containment products for agricultural grain, fertilizer and liquid storage. Products include metal roofing, siding, insulated metal panels and composite panels. Its trade names include Mercury Metals, Valley Truss & Metal, RCA Metal and AWIP-Vicwest USA.
