Construction has reached the top floor of the new Woodstock General Hospital in Woodstock, Ont. EllisDon Corp. is general contractor of the three-storey, 178-bed state-of-the-art facility, which will replace the existing hospital.
Completion on the project has been scheduled for November 2011. The project was designed by Parkin Architects Ltd.
Consultants are Stantec Consulting Ltd. (structural) and The Walter Fedy Partnership (mechanical/electrical).
Subcontractors include: Blue-Con Inc. (site services); EllisDon Corp (foundation); Oxford Builderas Supplies London (formwork); CBM (concrete); Northwood Carpet & Tile; Continental Cabinet; Associated Painting Ltd.; Comstock Canada Ltd. (mechanical/electrical); Ritz Sheet Metal Inc. (siding); Flynn Canada (roofing); Glass Canada Ltd.; and Delta Elevator Co. Ltd.
