MONCTON, N.B.
Construction on a new $10.5-million breast health centre at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital will be completed later this year, while a new $104-million surgical suite will start this spring.
The 9,900 square metre facility surgical suite requires the construction of an extension on the north side of the hospital and includes 2,160 square metres of renovated space.
The demolition of the former Vanier School will also make room for a new parking lot which is being created to compensate for lost parking space where the new surgical suite addition will be built.
