TORONTO — Plazacorp has been announced as the winner of 2018 Tarion Homeowners Choice High-Rise Builder of the Year award.
The Homeowners Choice Awards celebrate building excellence in Ontario as chosen by new home owners, explained a May 1 media statement. Tarion is the administrator of Ontario’s new home warranty program. Plazacorp projects have included Musee, Plaza Midtown and the Theatre District Residence, all in Toronto.
The Tarion citation said Plazacorp has “demonstrated not only excellence in innovation, design and workmanship, but Plazacorp’s signature customer care and customer service from signing to occupancy and beyond.”
Home buyers are asked about the level of service their builder provided before, during and after they moved into their new home, the statement explained. Tarion then presents a Homeowners Choice Award annually to builders who receive top marks from their buyers.
