Graywood plans Church Street tower
Graywood Developments LP announced yesterday that it has completed the first closing of its private real estate development fund, Graywood Fund IX Limited Partnership, raising $100 million. The firm has used part of the proceeds from Fund IX to acquire 241 Church St. in downtown Toronto with plans to redevelop the property into a 53-storey tower with approximately 570 residential units.

Sun Metals to consolidate ownership in B.C. gold/copper project
Sun Metals Corp. announced this morning it has entered into a purchase agreement with Teck Resources Limited to acquire Teck’s 51 per cent joint venture interest in the Lorraine copper-gold project located in northcentral B.C. The Lorraine is a copper and gold asset. The terms include a payment to Teck of $5 million upon a construction decision.
