Shoppers co-ordinates rapid antigen test kits for Manitoba
Shoppers Drug Mart yesterday unveiled a set of COVID-19 rapid antigen screening options for employers in Manitoba. The tests are being provided free of charge by the Government of Canada for qualifying businesses and Shoppers stores will charge a small handling fee.
Hydro One earns award for 2020 storm response
Hydro One announced this morning it has received an Emergency Response Award from the U.S.-based Edison Electric Institute for its restoration efforts following a severe windstorm that affected more than 540,000 customers across Ontario in November 2020. It was the most significant storm since May 2018, with wind gusts of over 100 kilometres per hour that damaged more than 500 poles and downed trees, power lines and other Hydro One equipment. The winners are chosen by a panel of judges following an international nomination process.
