OAKVILLE, ONT. — A worker employed by an aluminum firm died after a fall at an Oakville construction site on Wednesday, Oct. 17.
The worker, an employee of Sanjak Aluminum Inc. of Mississauga, fell from a lift, reported the Ministry of Labour.
The constructor at the site is Crystal Homes (Harvest Hills) Corporation.
Two inspectors from the Ministry of Labour attended the scene and issued two orders and requirements to Crystal Homes, including one order not to disturb the scene and one requirement for documentation.
One requirement for documentation was issued to Sanjak Aluminum Inc. and a similar order was issued to ALM Siding, the secondary employer.
A ministry spokesperson said the investigation continues.
