Toronto residential worker injured in fall from roof

TORONTO — A construction worker employed at an east Toronto jobsite was taken to hospital this morning after falling 15 feet from a roof.

The Toronto Police stated that the victim was working on a residential construction site in the vicinity of Rathburn Road and Kipling Avenue when the incident occurred. The call for assistance came around 11 a.m. on Nov. 4. No information was given on the severity of the worker’s injuries.

The investigation has been handed over to the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development.
