Work continues at University of Waterloo Engineering V Building

Work is ongoing for the new Engineering V Building at the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ont.

General contractor of the six-storey facility with penthouse is Bondfield Construction Co. The building will have a student design centre with offices and teaching space.

The project was designed by Shore Tilbe Irwin & Partners.

Consultants are: Read Jones Christoffersen (structural); Smith & Andersen Consulting Engineering (mechanical); and Crossey Engineering (electrical).

Subcontractors include: BBM Excavating; Harris Rebar; Forma-Con (formwork); JMR Electric (mechanical/electrical); Pollard Enterprises (roofing); and Delta Elevator Co. Ltd.
