Bow Valley College in downtown Calgary is undertaking a $175-million renovation and expansion project. The first phase is the renovation and expansion of the existing main campus, and involves reconfiguring each floor.
At ground level, existing open plazas will be reworked to allow for additional usable space. The base of the building will be extended toward the property lines and new windows will be installed. Mechanical systems will also be upgraded. The renovations will give the college an extra 70,000 sq. ft of space. Stuart Olson Inc. is the construction manager and GEC Architecture is the architect.
