Toronto-based architectural firm Shore Tilbe Irwin & Partners has been acquired by U.S. design firm Perkins+Will.
Founded in 1945, Shore Tilbe Irwin provides architectural consulting services for clients in the commercial, government, institutional, industrial and recreation industries.
Perkins+Will is an integrated design firm with offices across the U.S.
The company claims to have more LEED accredited professionals than any other design firm in North America.
Perkins+Will has an office in Vancouver; the acquisition of Shore Tilbe Irwin means it will now have one in Toronto.
"Shore Tilbe Irwin and Perkins+Will share a common philosophy of design and practice," Shore Tilbe design director Andrew Frontini said in a news release.
