Construction moves upward on the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Toronto. Developer Talon International Development Inc. and construction manager Lewis Builds Corp. say the 60-storey project — with 261 hotel rooms and 118 condominium residences — will be completed by 2011.
The tower will include a five-star restaurant, spa, gym, conference centre and ground-level parking.
The project was designed by Zeidler Partnership Architects.
Consultants are: Halcrow Yolles (structural); Hidi Rae Consulting Engineering Inc. (mechanical/electrical); II by IV Design (interior); and Starr Landscape Inc.
Subtrades include: Aro Excavating Ltd.; Associated Structures Ltd. (formwork/foundation/precast concrete); CBM (concrete supply); Torsteel Co. Ltd. (structural steel); Limen Group Ltd. (masonry); OZZ Corp. (electrical); Vipond Inc. (sprinklers); Far East Aluminum Canada Corp. (exterior/glass/glazing); and Otis Canada Inc. (elevators).
