Workers twist up rebar at the expansion and renovation of the Rotman School of Management in Toronto. Eastern Construction Co. Ltd. has completion of the project, which has been designed to achieve LEED certification, scheduled for May 2012.
The work includes a new nine-storey building for offices, classrooms and renovations to the existing facility.
The project was designed by KPMB Architects. Consultants are: Halcrow Yolles (structural); Smith & Andersen Consulting Engineers (mechanical/electrical); and Halsall Associates Ltd. (LEED).
Subtrades include: Quantum Murray LP (demolition); Blu-Mar Excavating & Grading Ltd.; Deep Foundations Contractors; Structform International Ltd.; Gilbert Steel Ltd.; Modern Niagara Toronto Inc. (mechanical); Ozz Electric Inc.; Simplex Grinnell (fire alarm system); Vision Almet Ltd.; and Selco Elevator Ltd.
