Construction continues on phase one of the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ont. EllisDon Corp. began the three-storey project, which has been designed for LEED Gold, in August 2009; completion is scheduled for March 2011.
The facility will include classrooms, lounges, research/program centres, offices, meeting rooms, laboratories, a library, and an auditorium.
The architect/ primary consultant is Hariri Pontarini Architects and structural consultant is Halcrow Yolles.
Subtrades include: Blue-Con Inc. (site services); Harris Rebar; CBM (concrete); Turner-Murray Contractors Inc.; ULMA Construction Systems Canada Ltd.; London Caulking and Installation Ltd.; Lambton Metal Service 1600832 Ontario Ltd.; and ThyssenKrupp Elevator Ltd.
