AE Consultants Ltd. of St. John’s, Newfoundland will join the Genivar Inc. (TSX:GNV) family of companies in an alliance. AE Consultants has sold its shares to Genivar partner PBK Architects Inc.
AE Consultants, based in St. John’s, is an architecture and engineering firm with 16 employees. Services include prime consulting, architecture, structural, civil and municipal engineering.
AE Consultants has sold its shares to Genivar partner PBK Architects Inc. and will continue to operate under the AE Consultants name.
The AE Consultants alliance announcement comes two months after Genivar acquired construction surveying firm Le Groupe Giroux and four months after Genivar acquired Dakins Engineering Group Ltd.
Stephen Wallace, Senior Vice-President for Atlantic Canada at Genivar, stated in a press release: “We are very pleased to welcome AE Consultants within Genivar as it fits very well in our development strategy and enables us to establish a presence in both architecture and engineering in Newfoundland and Labrador. Through this alliance, we are delivering on our growth strategy of expanding across Canada, thus being a global player with a strong local presence as we now are established in all ten Canadian provinces.”
