Exterior work moves along at the Humber College Lakeshore Campus new L Building in Etobicoke, Ont.
General contractor Vanbots, a division of Carillion Construction Inc., has completion of the four-storey, multi-purpose facility scheduled for summer 2011. The project was designed by HOK Architects and consultants are Banerjee & Associates (structural) and Smith and Andersen Consulting Engineering (mechanical/electrical).
Subcontractors include: Blu-Mar Excavating and Grading; Anchor Shoring & Caissons Ltd; Salit Steel Ltd. (rebar); Avenue Forming; Tresman Steel Industries (structural steel); CBM (Concrete); Bernel Masonry; Adelt Mechanical (mechanical/fire protection); Metric Electric; Flynn Canada (windows/roofing); Titan Metals (fibre c panels); Otis Canada Inc. (elevators) and London Paving.
