Construction is moving along on the Goodes Hall expansion at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ont.
Atlas Corporation is general contractor of the five-storey project designed to meet LEED certification and the owner is Queen’s University. The expansion will include classrooms, study/seminar rooms, multi-purpose rooms, two new research centres, a state-of-the-art research lab, faculty offices and underground parking.
Completion has been scheduled for spring 2012 and the project was designed by +VG Architects. Consultants are Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd. (structural); The Mitchell Partnership (mechanical) and Morrison Hershfield Ltd. (electrical).
