LONDON ONT. — Educational consulting firm Constructionlab Ltd. recently announced it has created a student scholarship worth $1,500 for graduating high school senior students choosing a career in architecture, engineering or construction management.
The scholarship will be paid out over the first two years of enrolment in a Canadian college or university.
“We have been blessed to forge amazing partnerships with construction associations, corporate clients and schools in Canada, and it is time for us to give back to the industry in a way that is beyond our annual support for Pathways to Education and Pencils of Promise,” said Derek Smith, president of Constructionlab, in a statement.
The firm offers adult construction and design industry learning and development programs.
Details for the qualifying criteria will be posted to the Constructionlab website by early October and an application deadline for a July 2021 payout has been set for early April 2021.
