MISSISSAUGA, ONT.—EllisDon Infrastructure Services and Technology (EDIST) collaborated with the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC) to provide support for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
The EDIST team was recently in Tokyo working with the CPC to operate the facility where 128 Canadian Paralympians resided during the Games.
EllisDon’s involvement included concierge support, games scheduling, FF&E database management space planning, inventory management as well as village space pre/post occupancy inspection services, states an EllisDon release. The vision of this collaboration is around a longer-term engagement, as the Winter Paralympic Games in Beijing are just around the corner, in March 2022, and future Games are already in planning, adds the release.
EllisDon also supported the operation of the Athletes Village for the 2015 PanAm/ParaPanAm Games in Toronto.
