A bucket of concrete swings over the River City Condominiums phase three project in Toronto.
Bluescape Construction Management Inc. is building the 29-storey tower with 330 units for owner Urban Capital Property Group. The project, designed to meet LEED Gold certification, will have ground floor retail, six levels of above grade parking, a gym, a fitness and yoga centre, a reading room, a children’s play space and an outdoor pool. The architects are Saucier + Perrotte Architects/ZAS Architects Inc. in a joint venture. Consultants are Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd. (structural) and Smith + Andersen Consulting Engineers (mechanical/electrical). Subtrades include: Coreydale Contracting Co. (excavation); GeoFoundations (piling/caissons); C&T Reinforcing Steel Co. (1987) Ltd.; Viewmount (formwork); CBM (concrete); D. Zentil Mechanical Ltd./PM Sheet Metal (mechanical) and Nortown Electrical Contractors.
