Construction continues on the Ashbridges Bay Treatment Plant — P Building Upgrades and Odour Control project in Toronto.
Walsh Construction Company Canada is the general contractor and the owner/developer is the City of Toronto. The $146-million project includes a critical upgrade to the facilities including construction of a new screening and processing facility (incorporating a green roof) and a modern odour control system designed to service the City of Toronto for decades to come. Completion is expected by spring of 2018 and the project was designed by AECOM. Subcontractors include: Peters Excavating Ltd. (site services and excavation); Anchor Shoring (piling and caissons); Accucut Rienforcing; Structform/Hardrock Partnership (formwork); CBM Concrete; Northern Precast Inc.; Linar Masonry (masonry); Benson Steel (structural); Torsteel Ltd. (miscellaneous and ornamental metal); Triumph Roofing Canada Ltd.; LPC Painting; Kone Elevators Ltd.; Gowing Mechanical Ltd.; Quantech Electric; Ashland Paving and Priestly Demolition.
