New Forest Group office construction completed

TORONTO — Construction is complete on a new headquarters office building for Forest Group in Vaughan, Ont.

International design firm Ware Malcomb provided architecture, interior design and civil engineering services and Forest Group served as general contractor for the project.

Located at 240 Chrislea Rd., the new three-storey, 2,165-square-metre office was built adjacent to Forest Group’s existing one-storey, 1,180-square-metre office. The ground and second floors were designed as multi-tenant office space, while the third floor was designed for Forest Group as a single tenant user.

A modern glass exterior with a black-on-black colour palette was designed to contrast with the existing brick office building, indicates a release, adding the new building features black-tinted, bird-friendly glazing and spandrel panel curtain walls.
