Facade work moves up on Block 9 at the Parkside Village development in Mississauga, Ont.
The owner/general contractor is Amacon Development Corp. and the work includes one 24-storey and one 34-storey tower with a total of over 600 suites. The amenity space located in a seven-storey podium connecting the two towers will include a games room, yoga studio, exercise room, theatre, library, party room, children’s indoor/outdoor play areas, barbecue lounge and a sun terrace. The project was designed by Richmond Architects Ltd. and consultants are Jablonsky, Ast & Partners (structural) and MV Shore Associates (1993) Ltd. (mechanical/electrical). Subtrades include GFL Infrastructure Group (site work), Deep Foundations Contractors Ltd., Verdi Alliance Group of Companies (concrete forms), Lisi Mechanical (plumbing) and OZZ Electric.
