TORONTO — GTA developer Distrikt has announced the launch of 349 condo units in two buildings in the new Trailside 2.0 community in Oakville, Ont.
The units will range in size from 491 to 1,115 square feet with nine to 10 foot ceilings.
The community will rise in central Oakville, on Dundas Street not far from Neyagawa Boulevard. Trailside 2.0 is the second phase of Distrikt’s Trailside community which launched in March. Distrikt now has 2,000 units in its Oakville pipeline.
There will be over 15,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenity space. Amenities include a 24-hour concierge, fitness studio and private terraces equipped for outdoor cooking. There will be lifestyle retail on the ground floor.
Homebuyers will obtain access to a personal artificial intelligence assistant called Distrikt AI to connect with the community’s services and amenities.
Interiors are by Figure3. Designer kitchens and bathrooms feature cabinetry from Italy.
“Oakville is an ideal location that has until recently been largely overlooked by the multi-residential development industry,” said Distrikt co-founder Emil Toma in the statement. “It was just designated an Anchor Hub, and the Oakville GO Station is the second busiest outside of Union Station.
“Oakville has fully established itself as its own dynamic city, offering the best of retail, dining, public spaces and an unbeatable outdoor lifestyle. It’s close enough to Toronto without feeling overcrowded, but it also has its own personality and a thriving economy.”
