Boralex completes French wind farm

Quebec-based Boralex Inc. today announced the commissioning of the Bazougeais wind farm, located in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Brittany region of France. The project has an installed capacity of 12 megawatts, with four Vestas V117 wind turbines with a unit capacity of three megawatts and an annual production of an estimated 30-gigawatt hours of electricity. 

 

ULI Toronto presents tour of Hudson Yards

ULI Toronto will be hosting a virtual tour of the 18-million-square-foot Hudson Yards development in New York City, billed as the largest private real estate development in U.S. history. The site was designed through a collaboration that included Diller Scofidio + Renfro; Elkus Manfredi Architects; Foster + Partners; Heatherwick Studio; Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates; Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects; Rockwell Group; and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. The tour is May 4 at noon.  
 

OPG to develop new TTC electric charging system

Ontario Power Generation, Toronto Hydro and the Toronto Transit Commission have announced a framework to electrify the TTC’s bus fleet. OPG, through a subsidiary, will design, build, operate and maintain the charging infrastructure to power the TTC’s electric bus fleet, stated a recent release. 

 

$105M mixed-use project planned for Longueuil

LSR GesDev has announced a plan to develop a new $105-million mixed-use project to be known as Novia, to be constructed in Longueuil, Que. Novia will offer 273 residential units and 28,000 square feet of commercial and office space, of which 25,000 square feet will be occupied by KO Group’s head office. Pomerleau will oversee construction, scheduled to begin in summer 2021 and to be completed in summer 2023. Among the investors is the Fonds immobilier de solidarite FTQ.
