TORONTO — Minto Communities GTA has broken ground on the first phase of its Heights of Harmony community in north Oshawa.
Phase one offers townhouses on 20-foot lots and single-family homes on 36-foot and 43-foot lots, stated a release. The 98-acre development in Oshawa’s Kedron neighbourhood will have 800 residences at full build-out.
The Heights of Harmony is the developer’s second project in Oshawa. The community, located at Harmony Road North and Winchester Road East, has been recognized as the recipient of the 2023 BILD award for Project of the Year (Low-Rise).
Homeowners will have the option to include a net-zero upgrade to their home purchase, reducing emissions by 85 per cent.
The community will feature a new 28-acre park and a community pond within walking distance of homes.
Phase two is expected to launch in the near future, offering back-to-back townhomes and rear lane homes.
