IMMIX offers 450 rental homes along with retail and office spaces.

The project is intended to pay homage to the LGBTQ+ community and features an extensive art program. The displays included public art outside the building and commissioned pieces displayed in the lobby and amenity spaces, curated by Toronto’s Tatar Art Projects.

Amenities include a fitness centre, yoga studio, cycling studio, pet-washing station, co-working and meeting room area, outdoor pool and recreation space.

QuadReal’s existing Canadian residential portfolio consists of over 36,000 multifamily and land lease homes, with over 5,000 rental homes in the GTA. The firm and its partners are currently constructing over 1,800 purpose-built rental units and 3,600 condominium units in the GTA.

Other QuadReal developments in the GTA include Cloverdale Mall, Assembly Park and Bayview Village.

“This project holds a special significance for us. Not only are we creating an exceptional space right in the heart of the city, but we’re also preserving a piece of its rich history for generations to come,” said Toby Wu, executive vice-president of development at QuadReal, in a statement. “IMMIX represents our commitment to developing quality spaces in Toronto, enriching the urban landscape and enhancing the lives of our residents.”
