Big-D Construction acquires CFC Construction

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH — Big-D Construction has acquired Colorado-based CFC Construction. 

Under new ownership, the company, which has been around for 45 years, will continue to be locally managed and operate under the same name, indicates a release.

Chairman and founder EJ Olbright will continue in his role with CFC as will CFC president Pat Smith.

Over the years, CFC Construction has worked on hundreds of unique projects including office, resort, hospitality and multi-family. The transaction will allow CFC to better serve its clients by enabling the company to take on larger, more complex projects in Colorado while increasing its bonding capacity and resources, adds the release.
