INGLEWOOD, CA. – The Los Angeles Clippers’ new arena is on schedule to open next year, with the steel framework for its two-sided halo board now in place above the 18,000 seats.

The Clippers will play their final season at Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles before moving into the Intuit Dome in nearby Inglewood for the 2024-25 NBA season.

The team showed off the arena’s progress to media on Thursday, hours before the NBA draft.

The building’s roof was designed to accommodate the halo board’s 44,000 square feet of LED lights.

Construction workers bent over, stretching on the dirt main floor before their shift began.

The concrete for the upper bowl seats is in place, including The Wall area, which includes a 51-row section inspired by European soccer stadiums that puts fans in loud proximity to the action on the court.

The Clippers’ locker room has been framed out. It’s adjacent to two practice courts that feature natural light pouring in from large windows. Outside is a garden area that includes a lap pool available to the team.
